Can I just say that God is SO faithful!!
THIS is the good news that I was referring to in my previous blog :)
WE GOT A ROOM!
As you see in these pictures, this room is perfect!! It is fully furnished with a bar (filled with drinks, candy, and snacks), pool table, foosball table, pinball machine, flatscreen tv, couches, tables, chairs, etc! God has truly provided :) Two weeks ago we met with an amazing man who has allowed us to use this whole room for FREE whenever we want! We even left that meeting with the key IN OUR HAND!!
So last night was our launch night! We made a bunch of fingerfoods and brought snacks and drinks, we invited everyone through an event on facebook and had a wonderful turn out!! We had SUCH a fun evening spending time with these awesome youth!! We all had such a great time playing games, talking, eating, and just developing lasting relationships! It is so exciting watching how God has been orchestrating this whole thing :) Now our plan is to start by meeting with all the youth every Sunday night :)
I had many highlights from the night but one of the best was that I (Hilary) learned a new German card game! It was so cool because the girls who taught me do NOT speak English and I only speak a little German. After watching one game, I jumped in, and with the little German I could speak I figured it out!! It was SO cool for me to do that :) I just love being able to communicate more and more with these kids and can't wait to have a full blown conversation with them! God is so good and we are just so blessed to be here :)
